Strawberry Jam | Making Fresh Strawberry Jam | How to Make Strawberry Jam !
- 1 Stove
- 1 Wide open Pan
- 2 kgs Strawberry fresh
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Lime zest
- 2 tsp Lime juice
- pinch Salt
- Clean the Strawberries well and pat them dry.
- Remove all stems and cut them to pieces.
- Heat a pan at medium flame.
- Add in the cut Strawberries to the pan.
- Cook for 5 to 10 mins.
- Stir occasionally.
- Add Sugar and mix well and continue cooking.
- Strawberries will start to breakdown and release juice.
- Bring to simmer at low flame.
- Add lime jest and lime juice and mix in.
- Continue cooking, it make take 40 to 45 mins .
- Cook till jam like texture is attained.
- Then off the flame and kee to cool.
- After cooling store in air tight containers.
