- 1 Stove
- 1 Cooking Pan
- 200 gms Fish roe fresh
- 1 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- as per taste Salt
- 2 tbsp Cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 cup Onion
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 2 -3 nos Green chilies
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1 tsp Chilly flakes
- 1 tbsp Bell peppers
- 1 tbsp Spring onion
- Clean and get ready Fish roe.
- Marinate with Pepper and salt and keep to rest for 5 mins.
- Cut and make slices of Onions, Green Chillies and Spring onions.
- Crush garlic and ginger.
- Heat oil at medium to low in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds
- Add sliced onions and saute till soft and translucent.
- Add crushed garlic, ginger and the green chillies.
- Saute them for 1 -2 mins.
- And then add the spices one by one and roast them.
- Add the marinated Fish roe and cook for 3 -5 mins.
- Then flip to other side and continue cooking for 2 -3 mins.
- Then with a spatula,mash or cut to pieces the big portions and continue cooking.
- On complete cooking the Fish roe becomes soft and fluffy.
- Then add Chilly flakes, salt and chopped bell peppers.
- Give a good mix and off the flame.
- Garnish with chopped Spring onions.
- Scrambled Fish roe is ready to serve.
