This recipe is made with fresh Fish Roe in an easy way of cooking with just basic ingredients from the kitchen. Its a good source of Proteins and Omega 3 fatty acids.

Equipment

  • 1 Stove
  • 1 Cooking Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gms Fish roe fresh
  • 1 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • as per taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cup Onion
  • 1 tbsp Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 2 -3 nos Green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Chilly flakes
  • 1 tbsp Bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp Spring onion

Instructions
 

Marination

  • Clean and get ready Fish roe.
  • Marinate with Pepper and salt and keep to rest for 5 mins.

Preparation

  • Cut and make slices of Onions, Green Chillies and Spring onions.
  • Crush garlic and ginger.

Cooking

  • Heat oil at medium to low in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds
  • Add sliced onions and saute till soft and translucent.
  • Add crushed garlic, ginger and the green chillies.
  • Saute them for 1 -2 mins.
  • And then add the spices one by one and roast them.
  • Add the marinated Fish roe and cook for 3 -5 mins.
  • Then flip to other side and continue cooking for 2 -3 mins.
  • Then with a spatula,mash or cut to pieces the big portions and continue cooking.
  • On complete cooking the Fish roe becomes soft and fluffy.
  • Then add Chilly flakes, salt and chopped bell peppers.
  • Give a good mix and off the flame.
  • Garnish with chopped Spring onions.
  • Scrambled Fish roe is ready to serve.
