Mango Sago Pudding | Mango Sago Dessert Recipe

This recipe of Mango Sago Pudding is one which i like to rely on for a qucik dessert recipe when Mangoes are in season. It can be made with 3 basic ingredients and served as a refreshing drink or a well delicious dessert.

Mango and Sago are great in dessert recipes and when they are added together in a recipe, then its real amazing taste !

Mango Sago can also be relished as a part of breakfast or brunch when you are on a healthy diet scheme or dieting or at times to break therapeutic fasting. Its filling and also healthy and tasty for a dessert.

Ingredients
  

Preparation
  • 1 Mango
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
Cooking
  • 1/2 cup Sago pearls / Tapioca pearls
  • 3 cups Water
Toppings
  • 2 tbsp Nuts of choice chopped

Equipment

  • 1 Sauce Pan
  • 1 Mixing bowl medium to large
  • Basic Kitchen utensils

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat a pan, add water and bring to boil, add Sago pearls and cook till soft.
  2. Once cooked well, off flame & add cold water and mix in.
  3. Then drain the contents and remove water and transfer cooked Sago to a bowl and keep to cool.
Preparation
  1. Clean and cut Mango to random pieces and also reserve some as chunks.
  2. Keep the chunks aside and proceed with the other Mango pieces.
  3. Into a blender jar, add the big pieces of cut Mango, add the other ingredients and blend them smooth.
  4. Mango mix is ready, keep aside.
Mixing for serving
  1. In a bowl, add the cooked Sago and then the Mango chunks.
  2. Then pour in the Mango mix and random mix in all.
  3. Mango Sago Pudding is ready.
  4. Good to serve chilled and top with any chopped nuts of your choice.
  5. Serve & Enjoy!
