Here is an easy and yet delicious recipe for making Garlic Rice at home.It is a healthy option for those of you who like to have variety of Rice recipes which are healthy and has no added fat or artificial ingredients.This recipe can be a great start for bachelors or those of you who are new at cooking.

- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 1/4 cup Garlic
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 1 medium size Carrot
- 1/2 portion Capsicum
- 1-2 nos Green chilly
- 1-2 stems Spring onions
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Preparation
Make minced Garlic and keep aside.
Chop the veggies and keep ready to cook.
Steam cook any less starchy rice and keep ready.
Cooking
Heat a pan at medium and add Ghee.
As the ghee gets heated, add garlic and saute till light brown.
Add Spring onion whites and saute.
Add Carrot and green chillies and saute them.
Add salt and pepper powder as per taste and cook for 1 -2 mins.
Add Capsicum and give a good mix.
Now add cooked rice and gather all the ingredients together.
Off the flame.
Garnish with Spring onion greens.
Serve hot with a salad or any side dish of your choice.
