Method
- Clean & Cut pears and keep aside.
- Heat a pan at medium to low and add oil.
- Add garlic, ginger, green chillies and saute for 1 -2 mins.
- Add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds and black sesame seeds and saute.
- Off the flame or turn heat to very low and add spices.
- Roast the spices and the add the cut Pears.
- Cover & cook for 5 - 10 mins.
- Add deseeded Dates and continue cooking for 5 mins more.
- Add salt as required and give a good mix.
- Lastly off the flame & add apple cider vinegar.
- Mix in well & keep to cool for 3 - 4 hours.
- Pears Pickle is ready to relish.
Storage
- Transfer to a clean and dry glass jar.
- Store in refrigerator for long shelf life.
